red spot on tonsil?I was told by a doctor I had an infection on my tonsils last week, and the white spots had gone away mostly.. I noticed last night that I had a red bump/spot on my left tonsil? Is this common for tonsil infections?

It is common for tonsil infections. I had the same experience before. Drink lots of warm water and gargle.
