Please help my girlfriends left tonsil is swollen?She says its red and swollen with lots of pain. She ate a popsicle and the pain was lessened. Any idea of what she could have? Its been bugging her for about a week now. There arent any strange bumps below her skull to indicate that there is an infection.
The left side of her neck is swollen also.

It has to be an infection one thing that I have always told my patients is to go and get a cup of warm not hot water and mix in a lil salt and gargle with it don't swallow just gargle.
