I think I got post-nasal drip, do I? and is it dangerous for my health?I've got this for a while.. but I never knew it would be bad...
I already have a cold for a long time and I always need to cough up mucus out of my throat because it's annoying.. A few times I even coughed up tonsil stones that smelled like crap, seriously...
Well.. what should I do?

It is not normal to have a cold for a long time. They only last 7 to 10 days. If it's been longer than that you have either an allergy or a sinus infection. If the mucus is yellow or green you probably have sinusitis. This can occur with or without a fever. Do you also have swollen lymph glands in your neck (kind of in line with your jaw joint)? That would also indicate sinusitis. It can cause post nasal drip and that can really be annoying, can give you a sore throat, bad breath, and eventually you can get pretty sick. However it can go on for a long time just hanging there in the same stage. Try an over the counter sinus medication, steamy showers, and gargling with salt water. If it doesn't clear up in a week or 10 days, then you should go see an Ear Nose and Throat Doctor.
