I have a sore throat, probably tonsillitis, what should i do?I have had a sore thrat for two days now and i find it hard to sallow food or drink. Pain is worst in the morning and at night.
I firstly had pain on the left side of my throat (i think my tonsil) and now it is on my right side. They are swolen and it does hurt.
What could i do to cure it?

You have to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. It will only get worse and you could end up in the hospital if you don't go. Try taking Advil and gargling with warm salty water to help with the pain.

Gargle with salty water. Wear a scarf around your neck to keep your throat warm. If it doesn't subside in two days see a doctor.

yea um im no doctor but if it was tonsillitis u would be in waaay more pain. You probably have strep throat it can be reely bad if u dont go to a doctor. Strep throat can make the glands on the side of ur throat swell causing pain. Strep like most viruses is bad in the morning from your night breathing, and at night because idk. But it is hoooorible at night trust me ive been through it a lot. Now im not saying ur not in pain you prob are if ur strep has evolved into taking over ur throat. To cure it gargle salt water ( this will sting) to clean and go to a doctor to get a strep test. Antibiotics will cure it so u have to get a doctor to prescribe some for ya.
