I have Pharyngitis and Laryngitis...What are they?I have a wheezy cough, runny nose, problems breathing, a shortage of breath, pains in my chest.
I went to the Doctors and they said it was Pharyngitis due to me not being able to breathe properly. They also said it was most likely to turn into laryngitis if it hasn't already done.
I also have suffered from tonsillitis before.

Pharyngitis is inflammation of the tissues of the throat - means a red, swollen throat. Laryngitis is inflammation of the larynx or vocal cords, often causing difficulty talking or only being able to talk in a soft voice. You can go to WebMd.com also and type in each of these terms if you want more information on each of these.
