my throat really isn't sore at all but i will get maybe 1-3 white spots on my tonsils, i get a terrible headache, i'm really exhausted and feel chills
antibiotics don't help...I am going to college next year & I don't want to be sick all the time. if my mom takes me to the ENT, do you think they will tell me to get them out?

that sounds like mono, you should get a blood test and they can give you antibiotics and steroids to help you.

GET THEM OUT.... it will cause you many problems in the long run, if you keep them ... infections that could cause hearing loss, GET THEM OUT

tonsillitis is a symptom of viral and bacterial throat infections.
Antibiotics will not help viral infections.
it sounds like the tonsils need to be removed.

You very well might need your tonsils out if you're constantly getting sore throats, tonsillitis etc. That's actually the most common reason people need their tonsils out.
The white spots on your tonsils are called tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones. People that experience tonsillitis usually get temporary flareups of these but they're just temporary and nothing to worry about.
If you get to the point where you're experiencing tonsil stones constantly you should seek advice on how to get rid of them as they can cause chronic bad breath and sore throats.
