I don't have white spots on my tonsils the right one is just red. Is it sore throat? Or strep throat?My throat has been hurting since Tuesday. I can't swallow right, well I can but it seems to sting a bit. I looked at my throat and there were no white spots, it was just red. I don't know if I just have a sore throat or strep throat.

Sore throat. You have no white spots, which is indicitive of puss pockets, which would be strep.
Take advil or tylenol.
