How do I deal with this? Tonsillitis or EBV/mono?here's the story as shortly as i can put it... so it started with a bladder infection. right when it went away, i had a sore throat and looked down my throat with a flashlight and saw horrible huge white/greyish bumps on my tonsils, going down along my throat. my tonsils are also swollen. i went to the doctor, and they took a blood test to see if it's something more than tonsillitis. i have to wait for the results. so far, i don't really know what it is, but i've been given antibiotics, painkillers and a special mouthwash for the throat. the doctor made some quick tests that are 95% correct. according to those, it is bacterial. but it's not 100% until they look at my blood.
my main questions are, how long does it take for the pain to go away? and how long does it take for these disgusting horrible white bumps to go away?!
and one more question... how long am i supposed to avoid physical contact such as kissing, intercourse, etc. with my husband?
