Has my pharyngitis developed into something worse?I went to the doctor last Tuesday as I thought I'd tonsillitis but she told me it was pharyngitis... She said how it was quite bad cos my throat was so red raw all the way back. I was told my defenses were low so I was put on antibiotics for a week and given a nasal spray.
Now though, the symptoms seem somewhat worse. It's very painful to swallow and I've pain in the right back underside of my Tongue that carries down through one side of my throat, I'm hoarse and my voice tone has changed, sounds like I'm talking from my nose. Sometimes I get split migraines and I'm still very congested.
I'd very appreciate the help on what this is... It could just be nothing but I'm cautious that it could be Quinsy as theyre similar symptoms.

it could had been pharyngitis originally but then it could also worsen that it is now inflammations of your tonsils go to your doctor for an appropriate management .
