Can you get tonsilitis again so quickly?I had tonsillitis and pharyngitis at the start of the year and I had it for 2 weeks. Now my throat is sore again, sore to swallow and my left ear feels congested and blocked. Can I have tonsillitis again so quickly?

If yu were seen by a doctor and given meds to take and didnt finish them because you started to feel better, YES, you can get it again. Do exactly what the doctor says, everything the doctor says, or you will end up sicker than before.

Yes. My friend's daughter who is 25 gets tonsillitis on a regular basis and seems to be constantly taking antibiotics. I can't believe that she did not have her tonsils removed many years ago but it doesn't seem to be common practice anymore. I feel very sorry for you as I know how miserable it makes you feel. I hope you get over it soon.x

A visit to the doctor may be in order. If you haven't completely recovered, you can have a backset. It can be difficult completely getting rid of infection, especially if you are under any kind of stress.
