Can having your tonsils removed cause high potassium?My daughter had her tonsils removed about three weeks ago, now she has been suffering from severe nausea, vomitting, no appetite weight loss, fatigue, weakness.

i had my tonsils out about...5 or 6 years ago. no appitite, nausea, vomitting...all of those are tottaly normal. dont worry..it will get better in a few weeks.

You should report this to the doctor that did the procedure. It's unlikely to be connected to the tonsillectomy and those are not symptoms of hyperkalemia. It's more similar to hypokalemia. Maybe she's got a flu bug.
But just check with her doctor, soon as it might be something more serious.
