Are a soar groin and night sweats symptons of tonsillitis? (I have tonsillitis and swollen neck glands).?

Hi,I did the following:
Are a soar groin and night sweats symptons of tonsillitis? (I have tonsillitis and swollen neck glands).?I've had bacterial tonsilltis and swollen neck glands for about 2 months. I'm having a tonsillectomy next week.
For the past week I've had a soar groin (swollen groin glands) and night sweats....is this related?
Note: I had a clean blood test in November, and a clean anti-bodies (HIV) blood test last week.
I've been on 3 anti-biotics since December....with minimal success.

Sounds like you have health care so you might as well see your doctor to discuss this. Could be serious maybe not. But it could very well be related to your tonsillitis because your body has a network of connected lymph nodes all over your body including in your armpits and in your groin area.

Stop worrying Now & get back to us after the tonsillectomy Tell the DR about additional symptoms Remember WE ARE NOT DOCTORS

There are lymph nodes in your groin area that may be swollen as a result of all the infection you have in your body. The night sweats concern me. The fact that the lymph nodes are still swollen even though you're on antibiotics and the night sweats could be symptoms of something larger. MAKE SURE your doctors rule out Lymphoma. They were all set to remove my thyroid, thinking that was the problem, when they found out it was Lymphoma. Any weight loss? Itching? Fevers?
I'm not trying to alarm you. I'm not a doctor. If taking your tonsils out will solve the problem, that's awesome. But make sure they're checking everything. Keep asking until you get the answers you need.
If you have reason to suspect Lymphoma, here's the best site for info:
