white bumps on tonsils could it be herpes?i've come to notice these white bumps on my tonsils it doesn't hurt to swallow but i'm extremely nervous, i have given oral about 4 months ago. what do you think it is?

It could be, but it could also be strep throat... or a thing called tonsil stones. Google it.
And if you sanitize a Q-Tip with listerine and CAREFULLY see if you can pick it off... and it does come off and it has a foul smell to it, it may be tonsil stones. They are basically a bacteria buildup. A lot of people have it, its something that is common... and you may have to get antibiotics to help clear it.
Gargle as hot of water as you can with lots of salt and it will help kill bacteria in there.
My doctor has put me on antibiotics when I had them and this problem can reoccur at any time. Some people just have to live with them.
But to be safe, go get tested.

It is not herpes, but STDs of the throat include gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis.

It's not herpes. With herpes you'd see cold sores or fever blisters on you lips.
