stuffy nose swollen tonsils and lymph nodes...?Hi...i developed swollen lymph nodes and tonsils about a week ago...I have a runny nose, stuffy nose, and had some body aches at the beginning...mild fever...98.9...and i fell hot and sweaty in my forehead...what could be causing this...? What can I do? Ive been looking online and its scaring me telling me it could be HIV...and im scarted since I work in a hospital with these kind of aptients...help!!!

No its probebly not HIV!!
I had that too so I went to the doctor and they said I had tonsilitis.
Also you can go on webmd.com and put in your symptons and see what you have.
I had a high fever and my throat hurt though so I dont know if that makes any difference....
Go to your doctor and he/she will probebly (if you have tonsilitis) describe you pennisilin- did i spell that right?-

viral illness -normal for this time of year. treat your symptoms and wash your hands better. viruses can last 3-21 days.

try gargle with a spoon of vinegar, just be sure it reaches the affected area. sometimes we use calamansi in lieu of a vinegar. thats a common ailment here in the philippines. but to be sure, see your doctor the soonest.
