How can I get rid of tonsillitis without antibiotics?I have woken up this morning with tonsillitis. I am not registered with a doctor yet as I only recently moved house. I need to find a cure or relief without a prescription. I am tucked up in bed with ibuprofen, paracetamol, water and have been gargling with salt water. Is there anything else I can do? Feel rubbish :-(

If you think there is sign of infection like having a fever you have to visit your doctor.Because the bad thin in tonsillitis is your heart.Dont take any antibiotic also unless prescribe by the doctor.As we know that tonsillitis is cause by bacteria not virus.So they have to specify what antibiotic you are going to used,
