Can tonsil stones cause chronic bad breath?I have bad breath as long as i can remember. It is really embarrassing. The dentist can't find anything that can cause my bad breath.I have tonsil stones.I've searched about it, and saw videos on youtube people that have tonsil stones that are far worst than mine. And i think these tonsil stones cause my breath to stink really bad.I have yearly general check ups with the company doctor, and the results are ok.No disease what so ever.I'm 40 right now and i have been living like this for a very long time. Can anyone find me a real cure?Or the tonsil stone is the real culprit?

We have a book on "Natural Home Remedies" I looked up bad breath, aka "Halitosis". Everything in the book keeps going back to "Parsley". Get some of this put in with your food & see what happens. Most of the restraunts use to put it on the side of your plates. I always thought it was to make the plate look pretty. But threw the years I have found that it helps with your breath. Fresh or dry put it in with your meal.

Yes, tonsil stones can cause some amount of bad breath, however, the majority of bad breath comes from the bacteria that are on the top of the tongue. Before I got all hung up on tonsil stones I would clean the tongue. Look on the top of the tongue for some white stuff. That is the bacteria and it must be removed to get rid of bad breath. Mints, gum and mouthwasd do cover up bad breath for a short time, but they do not get rid of it. You must remove the cause of bad breath to get rid of it.

Yes, they certainly do! After suffering with bad breath for my whole adult life, I finally figured this out. I had my tonsils removed three months ago,. The tonsil stones are gone and so is the bad breath. It is not the tongue -- it is the chronic fetid drip coming out of the low grade chronically infected tonsils that puts the bacteria on the tongue. This chronic infection of the tonsils causes the tonsil stones. yuck. See the link below, I found this after my surgery and find that it confirms everything that I know about my own situation. Parsley will never help this situation! Good luck and tonsil stones do give your breath a putrid smell.
