Can inflamed tonsils for months turn into tonsil cancer?I have had inflamed tonsils for about 2-3 months now, and they have not gone down. Now I am noticing that one is getting bigger than the other (Which is a symptom of tonsil cancer) Is it possible for that to happen? Because they both started off just being inflamed.

I do not believe there is a such thing as tonsil cancer. There is throat cancer which consists of the whole of the throat. You must have a prolonged infection so you must go to the doctor. They might want to remove your tonsils. An infection such as this that is not taken care of could lead to worse thngs, such as rheumatic fever.

No. You just get very large tonsils. You need to get them taken out.

It is possible to get cancers in one or both of your tonsils but unless you are over age 40 and are either a heavy smoker or work around second hand smoke then it is infinitely more likely that you have tonsillitis possibly complicated by strep or another type throat infection. Go to the Dr and get your throat swabbed, find out exactly what type infection you are dealing with and then take the correct antibiotics for a long enough period of time (possibly as long as 14-21 days). Gargle regularly with warm salt water. If you smoke then quit.
